I DID THIS IM VERY PROUD OF IT YOU KNOW WHY
BECAUSE
WAIT FOR IT
LORDE OF THE RINGS

But every day’s like
Gold ring, greybeard, trippin’ on the mushrooms
Blood-mad Nazgul trashin’ the hotel room
We don’t care
We got to Rivendell across the stream

And everybody’s like
Mountains, dwarf mines, presents from the Elf Queen
Rowboats, rock paths, Gollum on a rope leash
We don’t care
Yeah we’re simply gonna walk in there

Cuz we’re going to Moooooordor
(Moooooordor)

Had to reblog this hah

Animated artwork by Rebecca Mock

Fine, detailed and subtle animated artwork created by New York illustrator Rebecca Mock. Apparently the animated gif back to stay, gradually more and more people are exploring this old format and customers asking for shouting. Several of these illustrations were created for the New York Times or The Warlus magazine.

Beautiful gif art. <3

Oh my Lord. We have to have these at AJAM.

Lovely.

Homestar Runner returns from hiatus for new April Fools’ Day episode Homestar Runner, one of the first great cartoons from the early days of the web, has been on extended hiatus since 2010. Since then, creators Mike and Matt Chapman (otherwise known as The Brothers Chaps) have moved onto other projects, but promised to update the site sporadically. After a few years of relative silence, today marks the first time the site has been updated since 2010’s Decemberween episode. And it holds up pretty well.
